Investors are rushing into European equity funds.

Investors are pouring large amounts of capital into European equity funds, while pulling money out of U.S. funds for the third consecutive week.

May 2, 2025 (Reuters): In the week ending April 30, European equity funds attracted the highest inflows seen in over a year, while U.S. equity funds experienced outflows for the third straight week.

According to LSEG Lipper data, investors put a total of $14.64 billion into European equity funds during the week, marking the largest inflow since mid-March 2024.

Meanwhile, Asian equity funds saw outflows of $6.68 billion.

Analysts attribute the reduction in U.S. market investments mainly to uncertainties surrounding the economic impact of trade tariffs.
